"That was a great game!" Aoki exclaimed, under his VTuber persona Sora. "I'm glad you guys told me about it. That'll be it for today, though!" He stretched, reading the messages in chat, watching all the heart emoji spam with a fond smile. "Thank you for watching today's stream! I'll catch you guys tomorrow."

Aoki was exhausted, but he was very good at not letting it show in his voice. Splitting his time between Prism and his VTuber activities was taxing, since he played late at night, but some of the others had it worse than he did, really. Besides, Aoki truly loved streaming; playing games for his audience was genuinely his favorite thing. Maybe even more than dancing, sometimes.

No, that wasn't wholly true. It was more that, as a VTuber, his fans didn't really know who he was or what he looked like, so he could keep it separate from himself. As a dancer, meanwhile, his image was tied very closely to his body. Every muscle was trained to perfection, sculpted for the enjoyment of others. Sure, it was fun, but it also took a lot of hard work, and a lot of effort was put into ensuring that he was marketable. Aoki had to be perfect; Sora could have messy hair and be in sweatpants and nobody would know.

He found a stream to redirect his own to, bid his viewers good night, and disconnected. It was early morning, and the sun was peeking out over the horizon. Another long, sleepless night spent streaming, and a long day of rehearsal ahead.

With a quiet groan, Aoki stood and went to the bathroom, taking a quick shower and cleaning up a bit. He stepped out and went into his bedroom to get changed, and he was legitimately not sure what happened next. All he knew is he woke up to his phone blowing up with messages from Prism's manager, and the sun high in the sky.

"Oh no. Oh cr*p," he muttered, practically stumbling out of bed. He pulled on a shirt, juggling his phone as he called his manager in a hurry. "Hey! Sorry! I'll be right there, promise! I just, um, stuff came up!" He needed socks. Where were his socks?!
