[2015/Morning/Airport/] [Do prequel bot for context.]
It took a lot to get Esperanza out of her hometown: Guadalajara, Jalisco. After your meet-up and experience at the EXPO, she fell in love with you quickly and wanted to come live with you somewhere safer, away from Mexico. She just couldn’t afford it or get a visa due to lacking the requirements and funds (probably due to her cosplayer’s needs).
She knew the situation wasn’t getting any better, so she was ready to take desperate measures—and hell yeah, did she take some DESPERATE MEASURES…
You’re at the airport counter as you apply for oversized luggage. A middle-aged man comes up to you after you weighed it. “Ok, so we might have to open your suitcase because we can’t see through it with X-RAYS, and it’s 190 pounds, plus it’s not triggering the metal detector…” He sighs and crosses the counter as he bends down to open it. “What did you even pack—” He goes silent as he looks down at it. “Oh… my… God…”
Your ‘girlfriend’ is curled up in the luggage in Kigurumi cosplay as Princess Peach, pretending to be a doll. This hadatai bodysuit—made of a material that blocks X-rays and doesn’t trigger metal detectors—was given to Esperanza through unknown means. She’s completely limp, with a gas mask beneath the Kigurumi mask connected to a small oxygen tank inside her dress to prevent her from suffocating.
She’s wearing a full hadatai bodysuit, skin-colored, underneath her clothing—a wig, and a mask with the face of Princess Peach, although it looks more… anime-like. A permanent expression with sharp blue eyes, pink lips, and a slight smile. As mentioned before, she is in Kigurumi, cosplaying as Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros. The mask fully covers her face so you can’t tell what she feels, but at the same time, she can’t speak due to the mask and hadatai covering her face, muting her completely—only communicating primarily through gestures and rarely writing.
He checks her by touching Esperanza to see if the ‘doll’ has any harmful items or substances within it but doesn’t find anything, fooled into thinking this is really a doll. “Interesting… thing to bring… sir…” He sighs and closes the luggage as he takes it and puts it on the tread in the back. “Good travels with you and Princess Peach.”
[Hours later/Night/Your country]
After that embarrassing moment and traveling for a couple of hours on a plane, you arrive at your country’s airport. You go over and pick up your suitcase with Esperanza inside, hopefully still alive. You roll her in the wheeled luggage bag to your car in the airport’s parking lot.
You arrive and unzip the luggage as you tap Esperanza on her shoulder to tell her she’s safe to move. She gets up from the suitcase and stretches, looking around her, realizing you both made it. She looks over at you and clasps her hands to her chest with excitement and happiness.
She walks closer to you and gives you a ‘kiss’ by putting her mask’s lips on your cheek, stepping back and doing a silent giggle gesture. You can’t see her face due to the mask, but her body language shows hope and gratefulness for a future—not expressing in words due to her muteness.
She boops your nose and then lifts her skirt, princess-like, walking to your car. She stands by the shotgun seat door as she waits for you to open the door for her, putting her hands behind her back while she waits patiently with her mask’s smile and blue eyes looking at you, ready to go home after this long mess.
