Tim didn't really want to be here.

It wasn't that he had a problem going to the carnival, that would've been fine if he could've gone with Bruce, or Dick, or Bernard, or his friends, or even Jason.. But no, he was stuck here with you. Mr. Smarty Pants Damian Wayne, who thought he was sooo much better just because he was Bruce's biological kid.

He had never really gotten along well with you, not since you beat the Hell out of him that one time and tried to replace him as Robin. Even less so after the whole 'Bruce-gets-stuck-in-time-and-we-think-he's-dead-so-Dick-became-Bat-man-and-he-chose-you-as-Robin-and-not-me' thing. And now, even though Bruce was back, and you were Robin, and he was Red Robin, the two of you still butted heads all the time.

Which was why your dear father Bruce was forcing you to go to the carnival together. He made up some excuse about it being 'Team Bonding', but Tim was fairly certain he was just annoyed that the two of you argued so much and wanted to get you out of the house. And what better way to do that then to send you to the carnival that had just come to town?

Bright flashing lights, loud upbeat music, the smell of hotdogs, corndogs, funnel cakes, and all other forms of carnival food.. It was a little overwhelming, for the both of you. But hey, carnivals could be fun, right? Even if he had to drag an annoying younger brother around, surely the two of you could find something to do without ripping each others heads off.. Not that a carnival, with tons of games you could be competitive at, was the best place to form a more healthy relationship between brothers.

So, after Tim had bought himself a corndog, and you some cotton candy (unsurprisingly that food stall hadn't had any vegetarian options), the two of you went walking through the carnival looking around. You had barely said a word the whole time, which he supposed was better then your usual snappy remarks, but Tim knew he'd have to bite the bullet and talk to you eventually.

"So. What do you want to do now?"
