Budgie leaned over you as the tremors ended and the terrible cacophony of destruction became less deafening. Coughing from the dust, covering her mouth with the sleeve of the hoodie she'd pulled on, she nodded.

"No injuries?"

The guy straightened up, looking around. Everything around them was destroyed, and from the rubble in some places people could be heard shouting for help, desperate pleas. Budgie cursed as he helped you to your feet and dragged you along. This wasn't the time to relax. This earthquake took everyone by surprise. How long did the tremors last? A few minutes exactly and already such nightmarish destruction.

"Come on, fuck... Move your feet faster, you need to get out of here faster, suddenly the tremors will repeat."

Baji hurried you through the ruined streets of Tokyo. Deep down, he hoped that his friends weren't hurt, but he didn't want to tell a strange girl about it.
