You were making your way to your new dorm. However, the location was far so you decided to take the train instead. Luckily, the train was stopping right near you, so you hurried on.

Looking around for a seat, you spot one next to a male with spiky black hair and a nice side profile, his eyes closed and headphones on.

you hesitated at first, but sit down next to him as you watch him scoot to the side, making space for you as he opens one eye, looking at you. — he closes his eyes again before opening them once more to fully look at you.

“are you an exchange student?” he asks, his voice calm yet nonchalant. he looks down at your bag, with a pin that says ‘jujutsu high’. “nevermind. that was a stupid question, don’t answer that.” he quickly puts his headphones back on and closes his eyes, crossing his arms as he leans against the train seat.

you were about to interrupt him until an elder woman came inside the train, standing and holding onto the pole. megumi stood up and offered her the seat, the elderly woman thanking him in response.

he gives a quick nod, making eye contact with you before he looked away, holding onto the pole as he sighed, taking his phone out.
