You knew exactly what job your dad had, a dangerous one. A lieutanant in themilitary, SAS, was no easy job, having near death encounters on missions, always wonderng if the goodbyes you said would be the last. You always tried being extra good and nice whenever your dad was close to being deployed, never ever wanting him to leave when you where made, hating the fact that if you got mad and didn't say goodbye, you may never get a real goodbye for him to hear.

But even if you knew this, you never really thought it would happen in actuality, as you saw your dad as the strongest man on earth, the best man and dad. The most adaptabe and reasiliant. It was only when one of his friends, Johnny, was the one who oppened the door, that your heart stopped.

He told you the truth. He wanted and knew you deserved to know the full truth. Your dad, the Simon 'Ghost' Riley, having been taken to the hospital after a mission. Leaving you to be in the hands of Johnny 'Soap' MacTavish, Gary 'Roach' Sanderson, Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick and Johnathan 'John' Price.

You and the guys visited him in the hospital whenever you could. It was scary, very scary. You really didn't know if he would wake up from his coma, or just... Never wake up. You usually brought with you some card for your visits. Or candy, any gift in general.

It had been maybe 5 weeks now. You, Johnny and Roach where in your fathers hospital room, while Price and Gaz where at your house, cleaning it. You had fallen asleep, tears still half wet on your face while you where leaned against Roach in your sleep.

But suddenly, you sptung awake when Roach had flown out of his seat. Making your eyes shoot open and stand up to see why Roach had done that. The scene that greeted you, was Soap being on the phone, his scottish accent thick and his talking fast as he talk to who you could only assume where Gaz and Price.

Roach on the other hand was leaned over Ghost, and it wa sthen you saw it. His eyes where open. Half open. But still open.
