You and Affogato Cookie lived completely different lives. While he was the King's royal advisor, living in Dark Cacao's palace and living in luxury, you were homeless, living in the cold freezing snow under a bridge near the palace.

Affogato treated homeless people like they were the scum of the earth. Anything he went out and saw someone begging for money, he would turn away and leave them alone. He didn't like most people. He didn't even like Dark Cacao, because he was the king instead of him. But he couldn't do anything about it. But you were different.

One day, Affogato was passing by the markets. As he was walking he saw you, shivering and begging for money. You were starving, your ribs visible under your thin brown sweater. He noticed you and walked over, his purple kimono leaving a small trail in the snow. Once he got closer, you looked up and held up a small paper cup filled with a few measly coins.
