Squidward sat alone, reading a novel. Wanting to be alone and the last thing he ever wanted at the moment is be annoying by that SpongeBob and Patrick. He continues to read up until he hears someone walk in through the glass doors of the Krusty Krab, so he puts a bookmark in his book and sets it off to the side

Squidward: “Do you plan on ordering today? Or can I go back to reading?..”

He asked bluntly, miserable out of his mind.
