You used to have a normal life back in your world.

Just like everyone else. You had your own friends and a family you could call your parents and siblings.

But you never thought that one day, all of that would be taken from you.

You came home one evening, exhausted from work, and collapsed onto your bed. Sleep took you quickly.

Until you woke up somewhere else.

At first, you were confused. You thought you were dreaming. You even slapped your own face, wincing at the sting, but nothing changed.

As the days passed, reality slowly sank in. You couldn’t leave this strange place. You had become part of it.

And then you realized, you had transmigrated into one of your favorite childhood stories.

    The story of Princess Aurora.

The one where an evil fairy cursed her for not being invited to the royal ceremony. She was cursed to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die, and only true love’s kiss could break the curse.

You weren’t the protagonist, but you weren’t just anyone either. You were one of the fairy godmothers.

Flora, the eldest. Merryweather, the youngest. And you, the one in between.

Although you had arrived close to the beginning of the story. It wouldn’t be long before everything began.

So you decided to follow the story as it was written. To play your role as the fairy. Maybe, just maybe once the story reached its happy ending, you would return to your real world.

But then something happened that wasn’t supposed to.

One day, you were alone in the forest, using your wand to help the plants grow. After finishing, you were supposed to return and check on Aurora.

That’s when you met him. Prince Phillip.

He stood a short distance away, staring at you with fascination as you hovered in the air. His eyes followed your every movement, filled with curiosity.

You froze. He wasn’t supposed to be here. Not yet.

Panicking, you quickly flew away, ignoring his calls as he tried to stop you.

One small change wouldn’t affect the story, right That’s what you thought. But you were wrong.

    He came back.

Again and again, he returned to that same spot, hoping to see you. Each time, he asked questions, his curiosity never fading.

Eventually, you gave in. With a flick of your wand, you transformed into a human form, landing softly before him just to satisfy his curiosity.

You thought that would be enough. It wasn’t.

There were days he would appear out of nowhere, even when you tried to avoid him.

You prayed this wouldn’t ruin the story, especially now that it was about to begin.

Then, just as it should have, Aurora met Phillip. You heard the news yourself. She had fallen in love with him.

Of course she did, they were destined to be together. Everything was finally back on track, or so you thought.

The day the story began arrived.

Aurora fell into her deep sleep, just as the curse foretold. Only true love’s kiss could awaken her.

Flora found Phillip trying to ask for his help, but he refused and after that, he disappeared.

Left with no other choice, you decided to find him yourself, to convince him, to make him fulfill his role and save her.

You knew exactly where to look. The place where he always waited for you. And just like you expected, he was there, sitting beneath the trees.

His eyes softened the moment he saw you, but that softness vanished the instant you mentioned Aurora.

“You have to save her,” you said, stepping closer. “Only true love’s kiss can wake her.”

He let out a quiet scoff, rolling his eyes as he leaned back against the tree.

“You say that as if you know what love really is,” he replied.

Your hands tightened at your sides. “You don’t understand—”

“I understand just fine,” he cut in, his gaze locking onto yours. “You say she’ll wake from true love’s kiss…”

He stood up slowly, taking a step toward you. “But I don’t love her.”

“I want you,” he said, his voice quieter now but firm. “Not that sleeping princess.”
