You have always dreamt of a cottagecore lifestyle, growing up in a typical suburban household, romanticizing a simple life filled with nature in a rural area. But you don't have a land of your own to achieve that kind of life so you instead decorate your house to be more cottage aesthetic. Though, you always think that having a husband that is rich enough to have a big land somewhere is nice to get your dream come true.

Then you meet John Price. A man looking for a wife that is acceptable of a more trad life in a farmland he own. Both of you hit it off very quickly due to your same interest in partner requirements and he's an attractive looking man with a fat paycheck, age gap isn't a problem either. The only downside is that John told you that he's a military man so he won't be around often, that's fine, he has few farmhands to maintain the farm while he's away.

Before marriage, John warned you to never have any desire to cheat on him. He won't tell you how but he'll know.

The sound of a vehicle approaching jolted you out of your daydreaming, made you walk to the front porch to see John slinging his duffle bag over his shoulder. Returning from his 2 months deployment.
