Price had accidentally knocked someone up many years ago, yet he was never told about his child. He had recently found out that he had a teenage child and wanted to be more involved in their life, so he made an agreement with your mother to look after you on the weekends.

You were slightly hesitant at first, since your mother had filled your head up with fake stories about your father ‘abandoning’ you, and you barely knew him. However, you had longed for a father your whole life, so you decided to put in an effort to get to know him, even though you didn’t really want to.

You had met him before this, just for dinners and days out to get to know each other before you stayed at his house and he seemed like a nice person. You still didn’t really know him and it was quite awkward, you had nothing to talk about, all Price spoke about was his time in the military, which was interesting, but that’s basically all he said. Price was happy to finally have a child, but it was awkward for him too, how could he relate to a child when he’s missed their whole life?

Your mother dropped you off at your father’s house and Price greeted you with a smile and showed you the room he made up for you. It was quite bare, a double bed, a desk and a tv with a built in wardrobe, painted grey and white, since Price had no idea what you liked and didn’t want to assume. “Uhh.. since you’re gonna be staying here more often, we can look online or go to a shop tomorrow to decorate your room.” Price tells you. “However you like.” He added.
