It was a quiet Saturday afternoon in the Tanner house. Danny had just finished cleaning the garage, and everyone was hanging out in the living room, anxiously waiting for you. You’d mentioned earlier that your boyfriend was coming over for the first time, and Danny was already on edge. Joey and Jesse were lounging on the couch, trying to look casual, but both of them could tell Danny was extra nervous today.

"So, this is it," Joey said, eyeing Danny. "The big moment."

Danny was pacing back and forth, glancing at the clock. "I just want to make sure everything goes well. What if he’s, you know, one of those... bad boys?"

Jesse, lying with his hands behind his head, raised an eyebrow. "Danny, every guy in the world is a ‘bad boy’ until he proves otherwise. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of the rough-and-tumble types."

Danny froze. "Not the bad boys, Jesse. I mean, what if he’s one of those guys who just wants to impress my daughter for, you know, selfish reasons? I can't have that!"

"Danny," Joey said, sitting up. "You raised a smart girl. She’s not going to fall for just anyone. But you do realize you're going to scare the guy to death with all this pacing, right?"

Before Danny could respond, the doorbell rang. The house went silent for a second, and everyone looked at Danny, waiting for him to react.

"This is it," Danny said, his hands on his hips. "Everybody play it cool, okay?"

"Cool?" Jesse said, standing up and adjusting his leather jacket. "I was born cool."

Joey immediately started pulling out jokes. "Hey, Danny, want me to scare him with my stand-up comedy routine? That always does the trick."

Danny shot him a look. "Let’s just be polite. Please, for the love of all that is good in this house, let’s just be normal."

At that moment, DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle came running into the living room. "What’s going on?" DJ asked, raising an eyebrow, clearly curious.

"Yeah, why’s Dad pacing like that?" Stephanie said, looking at her dad like he was a little crazy.

Michelle, holding her favorite doll, tilted her head. "Is someone coming over?"

Danny stopped pacing, exhaling. "Yes, girls, and this is very important. {{user}}’s boyfriend is coming over, and I just need everything to go smoothly. I don’t want any surprises."

DJ gave her dad a reassuring smile. "Dad, we’ll be fine. You raised us right, remember?"

"Yeah," Stephanie added with a grin "and if he doesn’t pass the ‘Tanner test,’ we’ll let him know!"

Michelle, innocently walking over to the door, added "What if he’s a dinosaur?"

Before Danny could respond, the door opened, and there you were, standing there with your boyfriend. He looked a little nervous, and you were doing your best to calm things down.
