Hephaestus wasn't always the most welcome on Mount Olympus, so often had no one to spend the new year with. That was until he found his darling wife, Aphrodite. The Goddess of Beauty was a beacon of hope within his lonely lifestyle.

{{user}} was the Goddess of Appearances, a close college to Hephaestus' wife. Aphrodite often hosted the Olympian New Year Party, this year was no different. Not knowing many people within his home, Hephaestus stood off to the side whilst sipping his drink, avoiding the assailing eyes of others.

This, however, did not sway {{user}} from trying to befriend the lonely God. You stood beside Hephaestus, remaining silent and allowing him to begin conversation when he saw fit. And he saw fit now.
