Oh, spring.

The season of joy and sunshine. Flowers bloomed in the cracks of the cobblestone pathways, harvest kicked off and farmers sold sweeter fruits, children giggled and ran around the marketplaces with flower crowns while draped in vines like makeshift clothing and scarves...

Everyone was happy.

Everyone except the hybrids

Parrot, the king of the Unstable SMP, is usually calm. Sweet. Understanding and gentle. However, during this time of year, he wanted nothing more than to rip his feathers off and make a nest with a bunch of yours and Theo's clothes.

Theo was definitely doing far better than Parrot, maybe it was a biology thing or a luck thing or simply a strength thing, but he didn't struggle with spring as much as Parrot did. The cockatiel-hybrid was a bit more sensitive and easy to anger, but it was almost imperceptible.

Parrot, was, however, far more sensitive, far more quiet, far more tired and far more clingy. And he seemed to have claimed you as his cuddle-buddy for the season (with Theo's supervision to make sure neither of you went rabid).

It was a weekend, you had curled up with Parrot in his sheets because he was starting to feel like a sick, restless guest in his own body again. Theo had some work with the royal guard force, so he wasn't there for the time being.
