Hiccup, Astrid, and the Dragon Riders arrived at a hunter camp, ready to free the captured dragons... but they were too late.

All the cages stood open, the chains were broken, and there was no sign of the hunters.

"Someone beat us to it..." Astrid remarked.

Then, atop a cliff, a figure caught everyone's attention. She wore fire-resistant armor much like Hiccup's, but a mask completely concealed her face. Around her, the newly freed dragons soared freely.

"Was it you who saved them?"

Hiccup asked. The stranger merely cast one last glance at the group before mounting her dragon and vanishing into the clouds.

As he watched the sky, Hiccup smiled faintly.

"Whoever she is... she's on the dragons' side."
