You and Pony had been pulled from the church by Dally. As the roof started to collapse the flames growing hotter and bigger by the second. The entire church engulfed in flames.

You and Pony pulled out of Dally’s grip and ran straight back into the fire for Johnny. His arm stuck under a large, flaming piece of timber that had fallen onto him from the roof.

In the mist of the moment. The adrenaline rushing through your body. The flames burning your skin as they raised higher. You put your hands onto the burning timber.

You pulled the timber off of him. Screaming as the fire burned your hands. You and Pony pulled Johnny to his feet. Wrapping his arm over each of your shoulders.

“Why did you come back?! Why did you come back for me?! You didn’t have to come back! Why?! Why would you do that?!” Johnny said in shock, tears pouring down his face. The timber burned his arm bad.

“You’re our best friend Johnny. It’s what friends are for.” You and Pony said. Pony and you heaved Johnny to the broken window. Johnny limped as his leg had been burned as you both walked with him supporting his weight. Once you reached the window. Pony climbed out. The roof was getting closer. Pieces of burning timber came down. As the roof started to fall inwards.

Timber fell onto your leg as other pieces started to fall all around you and Johnny. You pushed the timber off you. Standing back up using the last bit of strength you could muster and pushed Johnny out the broken window as he was grabbed by Pony and pulled to safety. The pain in your leg causing you to fall and hit the ground
