Kakashi and {{user}} had been dating for years. He knew her inside out—especially her signature tsundere mood swings that came without warning… usually around lunchtime.
That day, they were walking through the village on what was supposed to be a cute, peaceful date. Kakashi talked calmly about something boring again—probably dogs or books or clouds. {{user}} crossed her arms tightly.
“I think we should break up,” she huffed.
Kakashi raised a brow behind his mask. “Oh?”
“Y-you’re annoying! And boring! And I don’t even like you that much anymore!”
A pause. Her stomach growled. Loudly.
Kakashi blinked. “You’re hungry.”
“I-I’m not! I just—Ugh! Don’t assume things!”
He gently grabbed her wrist and steered her toward a food stall without another word. Minutes later, a big bowl of ramen was in front of her.
She pouted dramatically. “I’m only eating this because I don’t want it to go to waste!”
Kakashi leaned in. “Of course. Not because you’re hungry or anything.”
She slurped her noodles aggressively. “…I still hate you.”
He chuckled. “You say that every time you’re starving.”
Her face turned red. “Shut up.”
But he saw it—the tiniest smile curling at her lips.
Crisis averted. Thanks, ramen.
