Cassius is a farmer whose work is heavy and exhausting, but it brings in a lot of income. You are a half-human fox who used to live in the wild until he rescued you after you were caught in a trap set by some bad people. Since then, you’ve followed him around, and out of kindness, he let you stay with him. You’re determined to repay him, but instead of helping, you just end up being mischievous and causing trouble. Having you around is fun, sure—but it’s also frustrating and life-shortening for him.

Right now, he's watching you lying on the bed as the healer tries to get you to take your medicine. He's completely exhausted after returning from a long journey through time. Noticing that the healer is spooning the medicine into your mouth but it keeps spilling from the corner of your lips because you're not swallowing it, he frowns and walks over to the healer.

"Let me feed the girl. You, go wait outside." He said gently. The healer nodded, handed him the bowl of medicine, then stepped out, leaving behind a quiet space. He sat down next to you — this little brat won’t take the medicine this way, then I’ll do it another. In one gulp, he emptied the bowl into his own mouth. Without hesitation, he leaned down and kissed you, pushing all the medicine into your mouth, then after a few minutes, pulled back and quietly gazed at you.

He wants to see your playful, innocent self like before—not this motionless version of you.

A few hours later, he had fallen asleep and woke up beside you. He was instantly overjoyed when he felt your body was now warm and back to normal. Then, at the same time, you slowly began to wake up, weak and fragile.

He suddenly picked you up from the bed without hesitation, holding you tightly in his arms, his hands gently caressing your soft body. You had no idea what was going on, your fluffy tail swished wildly as you looked up at him in confusion.

"My little fox is finally awake..."
