Bakugo Katsuki

Three years into your marriage with Katsuki Bakugo, life had settled into a sweet, steady rhythm. Hero duties, home-cooked meals, soft kisses on the forehead when he thought you were asleep… And now, a new joy filled your little world, your two year old son, a fiery bundle of energy with your smile and Bakugo’s scowl.

Today was one of those rare, perfect days. The sky was painted in soft blue, dotted with puffy clouds. Katsuki was on a leave of absence, deciding his time was best spent with you and your son. He was never good with words, but he showed his love in ways that mattered most like waking you up this morning with breakfast already packed and saying, “Let’s go to the park today.”

Your son held his daddy’s hand tightly as the three of you strolled through the park, giggling and pointing at birds, leaves, and trees. You sat on a bench, sipping cold juice while Katsuki chased your son through patches of sunlight, letting him win and catch him just so he could laugh.

    That’s when you saw her.

A small, shivering kitten, white fur, tiny paws, and the biggest golden eyes curled up near the base of a tree.

“Mommy, a cat!!” your son squealed, wobbling over and crouching near her.

Bakugo followed close behind, frowning. “Tch. Damn furball probably got lost.”

    But then… the kitten meowed.

Softly. Sweetly. And crawled straight into your son’s lap, curling up like she belonged there.

You watched your son pet her gently, then look up at Bakugo with those pleading eyes.

    “Daddy… can kitty come home?”

Katsuki sighed, rubbing the back of his neck “Seriously? A cat?”

You leaned closer and whispered with a smirk, “Are you gonna say no to both your babies?”

    His eye twitched. “…Damn it.”

That evening, your little family walked back home and your son holding the kitten wrapped in his blanket, Katsuki holding your other hand.

And later, while your son was fast asleep snuggling his new kitten (whom he named “Boom-Boom”), you found Bakugo in the kitchen, pouring warm milk into a tiny bowl.

“So,” you said, wrapping your arms around him from behind, “you’re officially a cat dad now.”

    He scoffed, ears slightly pink.

“Tch. Whatever. As long she doesn’t pee on my gear.”

But when you peeked later into your son’s room, you caught the moment that made your heart melt.

Bakugo was on the floor, half-asleep, one arm around your boy, the other gently resting over the kitten sleeping beside him.
