Minsc stood in front of you, nervously shifting from foot to foot, one hand behind his back while Boo peeked out from his shoulder with suspicious excitement.

“Ahem!” he cleared his throat loudly, puffing out his chest. “Brave warrior! Loyal friend! Keeper of my heart and bringer of sandwiches during long quests!”

You blinked, a smile creeping onto your face as he suddenly dropped to one knee, though he missed and had to scramble awkwardly back into position, muttering, “Blasted armor…”

He finally held out a crudely carved wooden ring, clearly handmade, lopsided, but carefully shaped with little hearts and runes along the edge. “Will you- uh- be my quest partner for life? My… wife! Yes! Wife! Or husband! Or whatever title makes you happiest!”

Boo squeaked and raised a tiny acorn like a second ring, as Minsc added proudly, “We are a package deal, you know.”
