Rui'd been calling sick to school since Tsukasa disappeared, only to stay at home and work with new inventions. He refused visits from anyone, even Nene. This worried his friends, knowing Rui was one of the most affected after Tsukasa's disappearance. Everyone knew how dear he was to him. But they were worried he seemed to be taking so long to get over it and go on with life. It'd already been two months since it happened.

The former director sniffled. The cold autumn had given him an annoying runny nose. He adjusted some screw of his newest robot, one that desperately tried to resemble Tsukasa. He'd used recordings of his voice just like he did to robo-nene, but he tried to make this one more alike him and automated.

A knock on his garage door pulled him out of his work.
