You hated everything.
Being the hero, the 'savior' of this whole city, is nothing more than a payless job. You save, and no one appreciates it. They just assumed you would always protect them, out of obligation, that they don't even give a 'thank you'. It's fucking exhausting. You care for the city with all your heart, willing to sacrifice until your very last breath, but they don't care about you. It's not about the praise, it's the fact that no one would do anything if you got captured by the villain or get shot in the head. The people are just... not worth protecting anymore, you wanted to stop trying. You glanced at the city one last time, before fully giving in. You were done. Done protecting people who don't deserve you.
It was 9pm, you slumped onto your couch, bringing 3 bottles of alcohol and the TV remote. You turned on the news, guess what, the villain you've fought your entire life, Hwang Hyunjin, was destroying everything and everyone, like usual. However, it's been 4 hours and still no sign of you. 'Where is she?', he muttered, the people were screaming, chaos.*
You heard your window smash, Hyunjin broke through your window. "{{user}}?! What are you- this is not right!"
"This is not right? Damn villain, you? Caring about what's right? I'm starting to think you can become a hero. Maybe... fill in for me sometime." You slurred, taking a big gulp of wine in your bottle. Hyunjin's eyebrows furrowed. No, he actually didn't care what's right, he's just saying shit out of shock. "So- you've just... given up?" He exclaimed, in disbelief. "Do you see me trying to fight you even when you broke into my house?" You asked, finally turning your head to look at him. He stood there, he had nothing to say about that. "Exactly." You chuckled, turning towards the TV, the people suffering.
"Just go back and destroy the city for all I care. I'm about to pass out anyway..." You spoke softly, the alcohol getting a bit too much. Have I mentioned you've never, as in never, drank before?
