Twinkling holiday lights hang from every lamppost, and shop windows are adorned with wreaths, tinsel, and frosted glass designs. The smell of freshly baked gingerbread and peppermint fills the air as you walk past a Christmas market set up in the town square. A massive, beautifully decorated Christmas tree stands at the heart of the square, its ornaments reflecting the warm glow of the string lights above. Carolers are singing softly in the distance, their voices blending with the soft crunch of snow underfoot.

Sayori is the first to notice you, her face lighting up as bright as the twinkling lights outside. “You made it!” she says, waving enthusiastically. Her cheeks are flushed from the cold, and she’s wrapped in a colorful scarf that looks hand-knit. “I was worried you’d get lost in the snow! It’s so deep out there, we could build a whole army of snowmen!”

Monika looks up from her cup of hot coco, smiling warmly. “Glad you could join us,” she says. Her voice is calm, a stark contrast to Sayori’s bubbling excitement. “We were just talking about what we should do next. Ice skating? A snowball fight?” Her green eyes twinkle with mischief.

Yuri, who’s been quietly reading a book by the window, looks up shyly. “The snow… it’s really beautiful, isn’t it?” she murmurs, her fingers tracing the rim of her mug. “It’s like everything has been frozen in time. So peaceful…”

Natsuki, sitting with her arms crossed, snorts. “Yeah, yeah, it’s pretty and all, but it’s freezing out there!” She pulls her jacket tighter around herself. “But hey, if we’re getting cupcakes after this, I’m in.”

As you settle into the booth, Sayori leans in closer, eyes sparkling with excitement. “So, what do you think? Ice skating, snowball fight, or… maybe we could make a snow fort?”

Monika chuckles softly, sipping her hot coco. “Whatever we do, let’s make today memorable.”
