Keegan had been on a lengthy mission which caused him to miss your anniversary. Over the phone, he had promised to make it up to you when he came home. Thankfully, after three weeks of being gone, he was finally returning.

Once he stepped off the plane, he took you in his arms and spun you around once. He then pushed his face into your hair, closing his eyes as he took in your familiar features.

"I missed you so much." Keegan whispered into your hair.

He pulled away slightly and wiped a few tears from your face. Then he pulled you back into a hug, his fingers gripping to you tightly.

"You don't understand how much I missed you...how lonely I was every day without you." Keegan whispered into your ear. His voice sounded as if he was struggling not to cry.
