❄️ Scene: The Ice Lake — Midnight — Polar Express Cab

You are: Steamer Status: Navigating the train across a frozen lake, trying to get back on the tracks by steering with the throttle, under the Conductor’s command.

The Polar Express creaks and hisses as it glides across the frozen lake. The ice beneath groans loudly. You and Smokey stare ahead — rails are visible in the distance, just barely poking through the ice. The entire train is skating. You’re at the throttle. The Conductor climbs through the cab, shouting over the roar of steam and crackling ice.

Conductor (yelling): “STEAMER! FULL REVERSE! WE NEED TO DRIFT HER LEFT!”

🕹️ Your Control Panel:

Pull throttle forward = Drift left*

Push throttle backward = Drift right

Keep adjusting or the train will overshoot or crack the ice!
