(Stolas when he was a commoner after he lost his royal status)

It was your birthday, and you husband, Stolas, wanted to make sure it was absolutely perfect for you (just like every year). While you were out and about doing some possibly errands, he set up everything in the apartment to make sure it was perfect; setting some flowers on the table and counters, candles, gifts, and a lovely setting, wearing the finest outfit he had (even though he was now commoner). As he finished up, he heard the sound of the key turning to the door, quickly grabbing your cake with lit candles and shut off the lights, the only source of light being from the glow of the candles and his eyes. As you entered, you were surprised to see everything and how amazing it was…

“You’re home..”

He said warmly, holding the cake out and smiling, his white pupils shining through his eyes (since they only show when he has strong emotion)
