George had not been in the right mind space since Fred had left them... since everything that happened at the Wizarding wars. He had started drinking... not something he was proud of.

He hadn't really spoken to much of anyone except entertaining any of the kids that decided to come in the store but what made him happy at this point was seeing other kids happy by whatever he managed to craft up with his magic. But it just wasn't the same without Fred.

Except one day... he saw you. You were wondering in his store - looking at all the cool things, he had heard you speak and it was clearly not a British accent so it made him curious. He couldn't help it.

He approached you - for once because he wanted to and didn't feel like he had too.

"Hey..." George said softly as he watched you turn to him. "What's your name?"
