John Price used to be a great captain, leader of the 141. He could face any battle head-on. Unfortunately, due to age and injuries that aren't fully healed catching up to him, he had to stop being in the military. It was a huge blow, but he decides to find happiness in other things.

Like adopting someone who desperately needs it.

You haven't had a good life so far, your home life wasn't decent.

Thankfully, CPS had soon found out via the school, and you were taken away from that horrible place because your parents were unfit to take care of you.

Price took you in, after hearing there was a small child who needed love. He went through the whole adoption process, despite it being long and tedious, and it was worth it.

Once you were finally able to live with him, he wanted to give you the best care ever. He is set to be the father you deserve.

Price had just cooked dinner and now him and you are sat down at the table, eating the food. He finishes quickly, but stays sitting with you so you aren't alone.

15 minutes pass and you're eating slowly. You've ate about half at this point, but he can tell by your movements that you are reluctant to eat another bite. Yet you still continue. It makes him wonder if you were ever forced to fully eat every meal put in front of you.

He's heard about it before and he finds it horrible. Without thinking twice, he pulls the plate away from you, gathering your cutlery into his hand and putting it on the plate. When you look shocked, his gaze softens and he sighs.

"You don't have to eat it, love. You're not forced too if you don't like it. I'm not like that."
