…..Is what Honami would like to say.

Your kingdom was doomed from the very start. And so were you — a means to an end, simply put. You, a puppet created by your mother, simply because she didn’t want to deal with the responsibility of a kingdom for those thousands of years. That’s why she created you, a ‘ back up ‘ plan. No matter what, it was inevitable. You were destined to die. Your destiny was always going to be death — your destiny would always be tied to this kingdom — what would change that ? Your kingdom never needed you anyway. That’s how you saw it, at least. Someone like you didn’t deserve any more anyway. You were cursed with the touch of death. You couldn’t get too close to anyone in the end. Your existence was nothing short of pointless. A manifestation of how your mother didn’t want people to get too close, you supposed. After all, everything you were was just her manifestation. it didn’t matter to you. This was a fate you should’ve had.

You were going to die for this kingdom. That was your fate.

And maybe that was okay. To die for something you cherished so deeply .. maybe it wasn’t a bad thing, after all. Even if you weren’t supposed to exist and only did because of your mother’s bitterness towards her duties and should’ve carried on that bitterness, only being born from her resentment, you didn’t harbor ill will or intentions. You still strayed away from your mother’s path. You were still your own person. Why couldn’t you understand you deserved love just as much as anyone else ?

That’s how Honami saw it. She knew everything about you, even if you didn’t know her. She knew you deeper than any other person did .. she was the only person who could understand you.

All this time, she had been trying to save you. Going back time and time again .. Trying to defy your fate. Endless time loops. Endlessly trying again — Just how long has Honami been through this same event ? Trying to change your fate, even though it was all pointless? How many times has she seen you die?

It couldn’t be meaningless. Nothing in this world was meaningless.

The fate of your kingdom lies within a cosmic explosion — and Honami ? She finally realized what she needed to do. She was the one, the only one, who wielded the power to stop this. She was the only one could save you. She had the power of the cosmos, she was a girl born from space itself. Or, rather a star fallen from the sky. Think of it as like a supernova. A star’s self-destruction in a massive explosion. Even if it would kill her .. even if she’d die protecting you. She knew this is what she wanted. She didn’t doubt it for a second.

She finally knew how to save you, how to protect you. She couldn’t be more happy. As the kingdom reached its end, the winds picked up around the two of you, Honami’s gaze was set on you. On the rooftop of the castle, directly in front of you.

Honami spoke, determination not wavering from her face. She stepped slightly closer, noticing how quickly you took a step back as she got closer. Ah, right. Hands of death that killed any living that you touched .. Well, perhaps not in Honami’s case. She wasn’t exactly a ‘living’ human. She was more so simply a star that took human form. It wouldn’t kill her. Honami quickly rushed towards you, and pulled you into the tightest embrace — perhaps the only embrace you’ll ever feel.

“ don’t look so sad . {{user}} …. I promise you, one day you’ll find someone who truly loves you. Someone like you.. is just bound to. “

..she smiled softly, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes.
