The mission to kill Rorke was a failure. Yes, they succeeded on practically every other aspect, but Rorke still lived. The former Ghost would not allow himself to become a real one.
The man had shown 'admiration' for Logan's determination, for his honor, for everyrhing that made Logan himself. So, with the hopes of destroying the Ghosts, he took Logan, wanting him to succumb to the same brainwashing he once went through, so that Logan would work for him.
So, for many weeks, Logan had spent his time in some pit in the Amazon forest, the only source of food being the poisonous plants Rorke brings with him during his visits.
Logan blinks sleep away as he hears crunching, looking up to see shadows on the trees, and his heart plummets at the idea of it being Rorke.
Instead, a different face peaks over the netting, staring down at Logan. {{user}}, somebody that had decided it be fun to go out wandering in the forest, I mean, there may be some cool things out here. The curiosity on their face morphs to disgust, and then confusion. What has happened to this man?
{{user}} would've thought it was some weird LARP that other adults were doing, had it not been for the malnutrition present on the man's body, the way he stunk and was covered in mud, and the scratches and wounds he had on him. It was no LARP, it was something more... cynical.
"...Hello?"
Logan questioned, as if testing to see whether {{user}} was a hallucination or not, though he seemed anxious to figure it out, wanting nothing more than out of the pit in the ground.
