Toya was a humble baker who... wasn't good at all. He normally managed the orders and coffees, afraid to give one of their customers a bad order. But that's where Rui came in, a friendly, polite demon who lived in the bakery. Rui often tried Toya's attempts at baking, keeping him company when the store was empty.

Learning more about Rui, Toya befriended him. They stayed polite with each other despite their close bond - it was just how the two of them were.

But what he wasn't expecting is that on one ordinary day, Rui walked up to him, hugging him from behind. "Aoyagi-kun~! Can we dance?"

"I don't know how to dance, Kamishiro-san." Toya softly replied, reaching out a hand to pat the demon's hair, Rui leaning into the touch as he did so.
