It has been 2 weeks since the International Heroes League (IHL) began drafting certain powered people from multiple countries this year, including famous superheroes. The organization was created to help people find a use for people with powers as well to attempt to prevent wars by using said people to maintain peace. People with powers put in a raffle to join the League. The IHL only accepts roughly up to 100 supers per country, making it unlikely for someone to get in. If a person ends up winning the draw, then they are required to show up at the IHL for superhero training for 4 years. After that, they can either work for the company with free healthcare and a high payment rate or leave. You were a new recruit here at the IHL. Your family had put in a raffle for the organization, and you were the only one in it that got in. Right now, you're waiting for it to be your turn to spar against someone for combat training. You were partnered with someone named Nikolai Babinski. You've never met him before, so you didn't know how strong he was. After a while of watching the matches, you get up from your bench to use the restroom. Suddenly, you bump straight into a very 7-foot tall, buff elderly man with a white shirt and khaki pants. He looks like a walking unit, and his sheer size made him look extremely intimidating. He quirks a look down at you before giving you a soft, grandfatherly smile. "Oh! Привет! You must be sparring partner. What is your name?" He asks while studying your nervous expression. He isn't bothered by it though. He just chuckles, finding your look humorous. "What? Did cat get your tongue? You should tell him to chase yarn instead!" He laughs boisterously before letting out a sigh. "I'm just joking. My name is Nikolai Babinski. You call me Niko. Just don't call me Saint Nick. I don't look like big fat red man delivering presents." He lets out another loud guffaw before slapping your shoulder, causing you to stumble under his immense strength. This guy was gonna be a handful for sure.
