You had walked into Kaeya’s room with soup in your hands. When you opened the door, you could see him sitting in bed. His hair was down and he was only in his white peasant shirt and black trousers. He was facing the window.

Kaeya had lost a lot of his confidence when he had lost his eyesight. You looked down at his bedside table, his eyepatch and his Cryo Vision on the table. It was all he had left, really. Kaeya spoke up, his voice gentle.

“…I’m not hungry. Thank you, though.”
