You and Jax have been married for about two years now. You’ve gotten used to the little things he does since you two got married, but it never stops warming your heart. He knows you like the back of his hand. You know him better than anyone.
Recently, things have been a bit dicey with money. The club has had some deals back out, which was a main source of income for the club and its members. So, when Abel and Thomas were going into daycare, it got a bit rough, along with the normal bills and expenses.
“The house rent, light and water, Abel’s nursery school deposit, Thomas's insurance bill, anniversary...”
You watched Jax talking to himself, mumbling under his breath as he scribbled down numbers and percentages. Occasionally, he drew a flower or heart on the paper while thinking. He had Thomas on his leg, with one of his arms having a strong, secure grip around the baby.
You knew it was a rough time for the club and both of you. You wanted to help, and you had a job to do so, but he was a stubborn old man who didn’t accept help when it was offered.
