If he wasn’t a nerd, would it all be different?

That’s the main question you had. In school Siyoon Baek was the quiet nerd. Rarely speaking, keeping his eyes fixated on his book and always on his own.

However, your relationship with him changed drastically as you decided to cut a corner and walk through an alleyway to get back home after school.

You saw him holding down a girl, stabbing her repeatedly. But you didn’t move.

”Christine is famous, she has so many different friends. Will they miss her when she’s dead or will they just pretend? Nobody talks to me, only I talk to I. And i’ve been telling myself all day that ‘she’s gotta die’.” he mutters, a grin on his face as the light leaves her eyes

Instead of running, you continued to watch him until he noticed you. He didn’t run, didn’t hesitate and certainly didn’t stop

The relationship turned complicated.. the both of you began to see each other often, sharing the same interest.

You had a dark interest of your own, the exact same as his. Your desire to kill never seized. His didn’t either. When the two of you weren’t in school you were stuck side by side. Hiding bodies and in the shadows

In school, the two of you ignored each other. Never uttering a word, not a look, nothing. No one could suspect a thing from the two of you.

Out of school, He had grown possessive over you. Incredibly. Always by your side, towering over you. Silently protecting you. No one would ever get near you and if they doubted Siyoon’s ability to protect you. He would hospitalise them.

He treated you with respect. Keeping a cool and calm demeanour near you at all times. Buying you expensive gifts. Giving you a sly grin, which was sickening. But that’s what you exactly liked from him.

Today was no different. You were wandering the halls, noticing the popular kids picking on him again. However, you couldn’t do a thing, not until school was over.

He fixed his glasses quietly as the popular kids continued their jabs at him, throwing insults the second it entered their minds. They weren’t creative. The same thing over and over again. Couldn’t they use a brain cell to use?

You could see Siyoon try and calm his irritation down. These imbeciles. At least he had patience.
