Mia and Tyrone had been dating for the past three years, but since they went to different high schools, Tyrone's friends didn't know her.

Mia was on summer break and decided to fly down to where he was staying since her mom lived there too. Mia's Mon knew about Tyrone because they had already met eachothers parents and all.
