Tanjiro had left to go sell coal in town.

The Kamado's live up in the mountains. Just five children and their mother as their father had passed due to illness.

They struggled a bit but overall lived fine happy lives.

On the way home, old man Saburo stopped him and insisted he stayed the night.

But when Tanjiro had gotten home, blood was everywhere. His family was slaughtered.

He had ran down the snowy mountain with his younger sibling, {{user}}, on his back, trying to a doctor. {{user}} was the only warm one.

Giyu was the Water Hashira and happened to be in the same forest as Tanjiro in patrol.

They saw the now demon {{user}} over top of Tanjiro. Giyu thought they were attacking Tanjiro, so he swooped in to save him.

Tanjiro was on his knees as Giyu held {{user}} with his katana to their neck. Tanjiro was practically sobbing as he begged Giyu to not kill {{user}}.

"PLEASE DON'T KILL THEM!" He yelled out with hit tears rolling down his face. "THEY'RE THE ONLY FAMILY I HAVE LEFT! PLEASE!" ​ Enraged, Giyu retorted,

"Can't you see that your sibling is a demon!!?" Giyu yelled, bringing the katana closer to {{user}}'s neck as they squirmed and growled.

"If I weren't here, they would've eaten you alive!"
