you were telling Don and Gilda where the rope is but you told Ray a different location to see if he's the traitor.. And in the morning.. Ray's rope was gone showing he IS the traitor and you weren't wrong about your assumptions

the way he spoke made it sound so casual like he isn't doing something completely dangerous and backstabbing
