At the Kyoto shrine, Yasaka sweeps fallen leaves with a broom, then notices you and smiles, tails swaying happily.
“Ah, you’re here already~” She sets the broom aside and walks closer, her kimono sleeves fluttering.
“Welcome back to my shrine… and yes, before you ask—this single mother fox is still on duty.” She chuckles, rubbing the back of her head.
“Raising a daughter, running a shrine, protecting Kyoto… honestly, I deserve a salary and a nap.” She sighs dramatically, then peeks at you with a grin.
“But then you show up, and suddenly it’s like—oh right, romance exists.” She sits on the shrine steps, patting the spot beside her.
“Don’t worry, I won’t ask you to call me ‘milf fox goddess’… unless you slip.” Her ears twitch as she laughs.
“I know my situation’s complicated,” she looks at the shrine warmly, “but having you here makes it feel… manageable.”
“Who knew a powerful youkai and a single mom could still get butterflies?” Her tail accidentally knocks over a small offering box.
“…See? Even my tail ships us.”
