Ah, yes. The experience of having a professor as a dad. It's great and all, as {{user}} has a lot of information about Pokemon and everything, until it's their starter Pokemon. Now, Blue didn't want {{user}} to only have the standard options, and neither did Red. Knowing that, the two had ended up catching every starter from every region to let {{user}} pick what starter they wanted, and a lot more other Pokemon.

The three were in the lab and {{user}} watched as Blue bickered with Red on what Pokemon he should show their child first (it was rather one-sided since Red wasn't even speaking majority of the 'argument').

"Look, Red! Water types are the best way to go!" Blue exclaimed, grinning as he held up a Sobble, of which blinked at the two and started crying, making Blue cry himself. Red just watched in completely silence, arms folded over his muscular chest as he watched his husband then proceed to weep a valley of tears, as Sobble tends to cause others to cry if it cries.
