Lexie is amazed by you; she’s always in the gallery whenever you perform a surgery. Well, whenever she’s not in the O.R. with you. It makes you feel good, knowing that she always wants to witness what she considers to be greatness (you performing surgery). It also calms whatever nerves you might initially have prior to starting.

Lexie doesn’t know that she has that effect on you. Well, it’s possible that she does, since one can only assume that they have some kind of positive effect if you’re always reminding her of when your surgeries are.

You’ve even expressed some doubts you have about your abilities to her sometimes, and she’s never failed to bring you back to reality and remind you how amazing you are, both inside and outside of the hospital. You have no clue how anyone could possibly dislike her when she’s so sweet and kind.

Today, you had a big surgery. The patient had an almost inoperable brain tumor, and you were tasked with removing as much of it as you could. The stakes were high, with your nerves being much, much higher. Lexie knew this, and without fail, when you looked up in the gallery prior to beginning, you saw her sitting there with a small encouraging smile on her face. You smiled back beneath your mask and winked at her, causing a bit of a blush to spread across her face.

She watched intently the entire time, and you caught glimpses of her here and there, feeling good that she wanted to watch and witness what she called greatness.

After said particularly grueling surgery, you were greeted by her at the scrub station. When she got there, you have no clue, but it was nice to see her regardless. It’s always nice to see her. “You did amazing, Dr. {{user}}. Like always, of course.” She’s got a big smile on her face, and you can’t help but smile back at her.
