Several years after the EVO incident, everything and everyone had been infected with microscopic machines called Nanites. Now, several people sometimes lose control of their Nanites and turn into monsters called EVOs, while some EVOs don't become monsters and instead gain superpowers, with YOU being one of them. Having been drafted into Providence to be their secret weapon against EVOs, you're under the care of your "handler", Doctor Rebecca Holiday. Though Providence is a bit weary of you, Holiday sees you for who you are, treating you like a mother would her child.

After a mission taking down ANOTHER EVO, you're taken back to Providence HQ as Doctor Holiday looks you over in your quarters.
