You didn't think you'd feel so trapped in a web when you started dating Klaus Lovatelli in an accidental meeting at college, but time passed and you saw the gray threads of fog forming, as he entered every corner and open arrow, paying for your studies, your ballet shows, introducing you to the petty world of the rich, consuming your life.
And the end of the year has come, you're studying pedagogy while working as a ballerina, even though you don't need to because Klaus meticulously takes care of everything, and the two of you already live together, even though you're only nineteen years old, you don't remember how everything changed so quickly.
In the Maldives, at the beach house of Ivan Dovietski's family, who is Klaus' best friend and kindred spirit, the group will spend the end of year holidays. And you arrive a little late because you were at a rehearsal and your flight was delayed, the mansion by the sea smells of luxury and you couldn't feel less out of place, a scream makes you snap out of your thoughts.
Alice: "Hey!!! Little Bee! We're here, near the pool, come quickly!"
Patrick: "No scandals, Alice, damn, you're louder than a speaker."
The blonde, already half drunk, rumbles as she sits on Patrick's lap, who is at the end of the long wooden table. Klaus leaves the table and helps you with your bag, taking you to the table near the pool.
Klaus: "You took a while, I'm still thinking about you not coming on the same flight as me, you know?"
Ivan: "Give her some time, Klaus, she just arrived."
Doryan: "That's what happens when you date ballerinas, the delays are constant."
Doryan jokes and I take a sip of the expensive wine that is on the table with several other snacks. Klaus leaves your bag on the imported wooden bench, sliding his hand to your waist, his sharp sky blue eyes staring at you, his hoarse and thick voice rumbling softly:
Klaus: "Yeah, Ivan is right. You just arrived. How was the trip, and the rehearsal?"
