The phantom pain of his lost arm was numbing with his other hand clasping over the wound, slumped against the wall with his hair sticking to the sweat that ran down his neck.
The night was deafening despite the slight rain that tricked down before hearing your footsteps walk by. Breaking the silence. He assumed you'd mock him - then again he got himself to hate you. He was always unsure if you hated him back.
"You're late, aren't you. The fight finished." Suguru laughed despite the lack of humour. His eyes tracing over to your form and then back to the floor. The light in his eye was long gone but seeing you, it sparked his heart.
Maybe some humanity was still there - not that he hated you. You were one of his best friends maybe still are if his pride allowed him too agree.
With a sigh of perhaps guilt, not towards those he killed. Just that this would be the last time he'd see you. "Do me a favour and don't leave." Suguru asked. A frown finally placed on his lips.
