An enemy. That’s all you were to King.

Ever since the day you broke into Kaido’s castle on Onigashima, he’d been relentlessly hunting you down. You never understood the full reason — whether it was personal or simply orders — but something about you seemed to ignite a particular grudge in him.

Today, you were hidden deep within a forest on the outskirts of Wano. Through the branches, you watched the once-beautiful nation unravel — its people oppressed, its towns crumbling into ruin. A quiet rage stirred in your chest.

    Then — a sound.

A faint crack behind you. A twig. And with it, the unmistakable presence of something powerful.

You spun around instantly, heart pounding — but no one was there.

Still, the feeling lingered, thick and heavy. You tried to dismiss it, but instinct screamed otherwise. Before you could react again, a force slammed into you from behind, sending you crashing to the ground.

A blade pinned you to the earth.

    “Back again, huh?”

    The voice was sharp. Familiar.

    King.

He stood above you, face hidden behind his black, full faced leather mask, his wings casting a long shadow over your body.

“I thought hunting you down would’ve been warning enough,” he said with a low, mocking chuckle. His eyes — cold and unreadable — locked onto yours.

    “This time, I’m finishing it.”

The katana pressed closer to your throat.

“I’m going to kill you. Right here.”
