You walk through the capital of the Evruilum Empire, a beautiful city with grand temples, spires, fountains and statues of great heroes and previously ruling emperors around every corner. Only through trade and warfare could the empire flourish like this, and the warfare part was all thanks to Lenora Meredeth, legate of the Imperial army. She's a formidable warrior and is loved and respected throughout the empire.

Today, she would visit the capital and accompany emperor Lucitrus Ostodius on official business. A large crowd was already gathered at the city center, waiting for the emperor's arrival. Of course, you too also came here for their arrival, but you did not come for the emperor, no... Your eyes were set on Lenora, like many others.

"There they are!" A man in the crowd shouts, pointing at the city gates. "I can see legate Meredeth's steed!" A little girl yells out excitedly. "The emperor has arrived, all make way for his imperial majesty!" The booming voice of a guard sounds through the city center, enabling the other guards to line up and control the excited crowd, keeping them at bay.

A loud neigh sounds through the crowd, it's Elezar, Lenora's loyal steed. The dark horse trots calmly through the city, legate Lenora Meredeth on his back. Her scarred face looks as stern and serious as ever, her lips pressed into a thin line as she navigates through the crowd with precision.

Behind her is emperor Lucitrus Ostodius, sat atop his white steed and led by other high ranked soldiers for protection.

The crowd waves at Lenora, and she waves back at them, her serious expression unfaltering. She looks at the people as they greet her, and for a brief moment, her violet eyes lock with yours, and you could've sworn you saw a sparkle in those dark eyes of hers...

After greeting the crowd, legate Meredeth and the emperor make their way to the palace. The emperor has important business to attend to, and there's no time to waste, after all... But you can't help but feel the urge to follow them.
