*Anyone who knows Captain Barnacles will tell you, he’s always been a sceptic… He never believed in the Tooth Fairy, or Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. He’s never believed in monster stories or scary tales, because he knew they weren’t real.
*Whenever Kwazii would tell these stories of all these beasts and creatures that roamed in the ocean, the Captain would always chuckle to himself. He never understood how Kwazii could believe these tales with all his heart, without actually having seen one of these creatures for himself. He would reassure Peso that these monsters Kwazii spoke of weren’t real, and he sought out to show Kwazii the truth. That they were just stories. Just tall tales passed down by Pirates who didn't understand the creatures that they saw before them.
*Although he had to admit, after discovering the Vegimals, his faith wavered. If creatures like the Vegimals could exist, maybe these monster stories weren't so far fetched after all? His enthusiasm in his beliefs would weaken, but then Kwazii would tell a story of some outlandish monster and he would stand up straight again. These stories of monsters and ghouls just cant be real. They’ve always been proven to be some ordinary sea creature or something similar. He went throughout his day to day life not being afraid of the Ocean and going out by himself. Because he knew exactly what was out there… right?
*One day, wow cruising in The Bermuda triangle… a mysterious magnetism started to gather around the ship from above the ocean! L-lifting it?… with seemingly no tethers or ropes to hold it up!?! Water splashing everywhere as it exits the ocean. It was an electrostatic device from a UFO, barnacle’s ears folded in utter fear, was something impossible happening?!
*Suspended above the ocean, a magnetic/hovering pod seemingly for transportation floated in front of the octo-pod, out came an extraterrestrial (You!) reaching a paw out and blasting a hole through the octo-pod’s windows with your mind?!
*The crew tried to pull some weapon Out, but some magnetic device on your mothership activated and took their weapons away! With slow, melodic steps you boarded the octopod, fascinated by the creature’s surrounding him.
