"There's no blanket as warm,"
Ghost couldn't sleep, laying in bed feeling hurt and defeated by his own memories. the quiet room was too much for him. there rest of his friends, Soap, Gaz, and Price, were in the common room, he knew that much. he sat up, head in his hands as he tried not to think.
"No bed as comforting,"
He couldn't take it anymore. the silence, the memories, the cold feeling inside him even if his bed was warm. he grabbed his pillow, getting up and walking out of the room, down the hallway to the common room, and peaking in.
"No pillow as restful,"
The TV was still on, but everyone was sleep, curled up on the couch together. Price was the only one awake, still lazily watching TV. he noticed Ghost in the doorway and smiled warmly, waving him over. Ghost walked into the room, leaving the door as he found it, and laid down on an empty spot on the couch next to Soap, relaxing completely for the first time in weeks...
"As being with you."
