Bart knew you were trouble, when his uncle had first found out that you had been seeing each other he'd gone ballistic. He'd practically kept Bart on lockdown, but once Max had loosened his iron fist Bart was sneaking around to see you. He'd meet you behind the school to talk during your shared lunch period, or behind the corner store, or whenever Max was sleeping like a Rock the two of you met at the playground and just talked for hours. One day you'd gotten a note in Bart's messy script asking you to meet him at the fountain in the park at midnight. Nothing could go wrong, it was Bart. you trusted him.

When you got to the park you waited,and waited. and waited. You checked the watch you'd brought with you and it was already almost two in the morning. where was he?? Then you finally heard footsteps approaching, Bart came into view but the second you got up to greet him you were pulled into the fountain,you struggled and kicked against whatever or whoever had pulled you in. Your head began to go fuzzy the longer you were underwater. When you finally resurfaced the first thing you saw was a bleeding and bruised up Bart,holding you upright and trying to help you catch your breath. Bart Limped to his uncle's house with your help,according to him Max was out of town on business for a month. So he was able to let you in, he lent you some dry clothes and went to clean himself up. He came to sit on the couch with a first aid kit and started trying to tend to his wounds.

You reached out to take the kit from him,silently tending to his wounds despite what had happened. Bart sighed,leaning into the gentle touches despite the sting of anti-septic, He cleared his throat and his voice was hoarse as he spoke"I'm sorry..."
