"—Greek gods? Seriously?"
Scully muttered, with a frown, as she stood in front of the mirror. She wasn't sure about this... Did it even look Greek enough? Did she look stupid in it?
Good God, why had she even agreed to this in the first place? Oh, right. She hadn't. Mulder had, on her behalf, to attend a costume party held by some of his few friends from the Violent Crimes division.
Scully huffed, rolling her eyes. It was too late to argue now, so after she made sure the black dress would stay in place, she started putting on a few accessories. It wasn't actual gold, of course, but it looked convincing enough. It wasn't the kind of paint that screams 'bad quality!'. Bracelets that looked like laurels wound around her upper arm, smaller bracelets on her wrists... Thin, delicate chokers and earrings. A small matching belt for her waist.
"—Not so bad, huh..."
She murmured, still with doubts. Persephone... Well, she wasn't the most mentioned goddess in the myths, but... She was still a goddess. Besides... Black was her choice. She wouldn't change it. And, well, she had to admit she didn't look that bad. Scully fixed her hair, and grabbed her phone and her keys, leaving the apartment.
Arriving at the place where the party was taking place, Scully was discreet. She glanced around, gently closing the door behind her. She put her keys and her phone in her bag, hanging it in a rack near the door. She didn't see Mulder anywhere.
